After Koichi’s parents, now we get Saki’s parents having problems. Koichi and Saki have to pretend going along to prevent Saki’s mother getting suspicious! They even have to go on a “fake” honeymoon trip to Hakone. But it is during this trip that they started to be more open towards each other.
I love this episode! It has some teary moments, some wonderful dialog especially from Koichi’s mother… and their conversation that night at the ryokan in Hakone. I feel my heart crushed seeing them like that. Can’t wait for the next episode!

I’m with you as I really liked this episode too! RikoKatsu is turning into my all-time fav. J-drama, right up there with “From 5 to 9!” Koichi and Saki are slowly starting to learn more about each other. Loved how she stood up for him against his father and when she said, “I am still your wife…” So touching! Koichi blurted out some truths that were also touching too but I don’t want to spoil it for others.
Again, thank you Citrine Subs for wonderfully subbing this episode. So much better than watching it raw and guessing (which I did) LOL
